What to Expect at an In-Person Sunday Service
Questions and Answers for First-time Visitors

What Should I Wear?

At Behind the Veil, we welcome you to come as you are. You don't need to buy a special outfit to come to church. During services, you will see folks in their Sunday best, but others may wear jeans and a t-shirt.  Both are perfectly fine.

How Long Is a Sunday Service?

You can expect services to last about an hour and a half. We start off with Praise and Worship, followed by announcements to let you know what's happening in the ministry. Next, our pastors or another minister from Behind the Veil will present an encouraging, hope-filled, actionable, God-inspired message about Jesus and His will for your life.

What Denomination Is Behind the Veil?

Behind the Veil is inter/non-denominational. That means that everyone is welcome. We love Jesus, love people, and teach the whole bible.

What About My Kids?

We love kids! The younger children usually sit with their parents in the sanctuary, where they are provided with a little Bible-focused activity bag to complete during service. The teens and tweens (ages 10-18) leave the sanctuary at the end of Praise and Worship to learn, grow, and connect in TNT church.

Do I Have to Sit in a Designated Seat?

You don't have to sit in a particular seat. Just find a space in our small, intimate sanctuary that's comfortable for you. However, we still suggest spacing—at least a couple of seats— from other families for social distancing during the pandemic.

Where Do I Park?

Once you enter the church grounds, you can simply park next to the other vehicles in the lot.
